Leader of Biafra Nations Youth League, Comrade
Prince Chimezie Obuka has warned the Nigerian
government over continuous detention of
Nnamdi Kanu, the defiant Obuka in a statement
sent to Oriental Times stated that money can
not buy Biafra and" our freedom is not
negotiable" he said.
Obuka also told Oriental Times that he can calm
the situation in troubled area in the coastal
region only if the Federal government frees the
"If Nigeria really wants peace then they should
give peace a chance by releasing Kanu, others.
"We cannot negotiate to end the struggle
because money can not buy Biafra, I can
dialogue with the Militia groups in Bakassi, Niger
Delta to embrace peace if only they stop playing
politics with Kanu's case.
Obuka further gave conditions for negotiations
"It's too early to talk about negotiation when a
referendum is yet to be conducted, we can not
negotiate to end Biafra but we can negotiate to
revive the economy only if they allow a
referendum because the economy lies with us"
Biafra Nations Youth League is among other
Organizations agitating for the sovereignty of
Biafra, the group have mostly based its activities
in the riverine areas, indications shows that the
Youth League extended it's activities to Southern
